Last night was really siong man! A caregiver came to me for help. Said a cat just gave birth but she couldn't eat the last 4 days cos each time she bites something she will run away screaming. I guessed a fish bone could have been stuck in her throat and he guessed she could be having toothache. How is she gonna nurse her kittens if she can't eat? She need to see the vet so we spent 2 nights trying to trap her. She n her kittens were in a drainage hole and the end that opened onto the road was sealed shut with thick hard mud. Had to dig out the mud but can only do it late at night when there is less traffic. We had to stop digging each time a car passes by but finally dug through and used a mop to poke her out and she ran straight into the trap on the other end. Somebody had to hold the trap in mid air exactly where the drainage opening is and someone else had to shut the trap door and the trap was damn heavy. Anyway, what matters is that we acheived our objective. This must have been one of the most difficult cat to trap. The professional cat trappers will never do all this, I bet you!

Dear Mr. Teo,We are writing this petition to you in the hope that you will consider delaying the construction of the park located at Tampines Lorong Halus which is connected to the Punggol PCN. You are probably aware that there are stray dogs living in that area and with the future construction of the park, AVA will step in to remove these strays from the area and cull them. As much as we would like a better quality of life, we sincerely wish that you will consider giving us some time to find alternative place to relocate the strays instead of having the AVA catch and cull them. We are not asking for a significant amount of time, but rather a reasonable timeframe for us to find an alternative. We do not believe that animals should sacrifice for the sake of humans, especially when SG is always touting itself to be a 1st world country with excellent welfare, security, transportation and government.

For most Americans, their only interactions with birds are when they're on their dinner plates, but one Los Angeles man made a new friend that's forced him to stop eating them altogether.
At Echo Park in downtown Los Angeles lives a goose named Maria, who 10 months ago began following Dominic Ehrler, a retired salesman. He wasn't feeding her or doing anything to attract her attention, but something about him made her want to follow him around the park. And she hasn't stopped following him since.
Every morning she waits for him to arrive for their walk together, and when he leaves on his scooter she flies with him for a few blocks.
When asked if his relationship with Maria has changed him at all, Ehrler replied, "I quit eating poultry. I never had that much respect for them, I figured all birds were dumb - this has changed all that."
