This is one of three cats (one has gone missing) from a family that lives on the second storey of a block of flats in Pasir Ris.
2 weeks ago, one of the three cats, named Puteh as it was pure white in colour, went missing. The family was ignorant of the dangers faced by cats outside home. One family member was surprised when told that the town council could activate the pest controller to round up cats in response to complaints from residents. These cats would be surrendered to the AVA where they would be killed. He was told to check on this website: http://www.catwelfare.org/faq
and also to call up the town council to speak to the property officer if he or she has activated the pest controller to trap cats at his block.
