HDB and Cats

Cat Welfare Society
If you encounter HDB letter about your cats, there may be room to appeal for leniency with some HDB officers if you secure your windows and gates to ensure your cats are indoors, improve hygiene/odour level and the cats are sterilised, thus quiet. And that there are not too many in the first place. If they can be certain there will be no repeat complaints, they may not pursue.

If they insist that you get rid of the cats, go see your MP and appeal based on the following:
1) You have exercised good pet ownership by meshing windows, sterilising the cats and maintaining a good hygiene level, which alleviates all the problems that comes with cat ownership.
2) You do not feel it is right to abandon them or to send them to be put down (religious or otherwise). ... See More
