Flat owners are not allowed to keep humans in HDB flats, as it is generally difficult to confine humans within the flat premises. Nuisance caused by humans such as shedding of their hair, defecating/urinating in public areas or even the "attempts to reproduce humans" sounds that they make can cause a lot of disturbance, which affects the environment and disrupts neighbourliness in our housing estates.
Difficult to confine humans within flats! Otherwise the streets will all be empty!
