3 cats removed by unprofessional town council officers for not investigating complaint of "cat poo" that turned out to be dog poo!

In a HBD estate, several caregivers were upset over the removal of three "tipped ear" sterilised community cats who were very friendly.
When two town council officers were confronted, they denied activating the pest controllers.
However the care-givers persevered with their search and two of the cats were found in the AVA. Fortunately they were not killed yet. After some haggling the town council issued a letter and the two cats were rescued. The pet taxi chap who went to collect the cats from death row said that the cats were so friendly, he could carry them in his arms!
The third cat was missing and one of the officer admitted the cat was relocated but refused to divulge the location.
The caregivers are concerned that the relocated cat may not survive in the new environment. If it were some remote wilderness, it could be bitten by snakes. If it were another HBD estate, it would upset a stable colony of sterilised cats. It may be chased off by established cats defending their territory. The frightened cat may run across road and killed. Relocation of a community cat is illegal and cruel!

These officers are unprofessional for
1) Lying
2) Relocating of one cat (the pest controller is also committing an offence for obeying the order to relocate instead of surrendering to the AVA!)
3) Wasting the resources of the town council

The officers claimed they acted on a feedback of cat poo on the staircases of a HDB block of flats. However it is a known fact that some town councils will not verify the identity of the complainant and some even act on anonymous complainants!

The caregivers went to speak to the residents in the block and one resident said the poo was that of a dog and that she has seen the dog poo-ed on that staircase several times!

Some caregivers will remove dog poo along corridors and staircases to avoid the blame on the cats.

Such town council officers must be brought to justice. File a complaint against them at the Meet-the-MP session.
