Dog found dumped near rubbish bin

LAST Friday, my friends and I had just reached East Coast Park when we saw a pomeranian dog wrapped in a plastic bag and dumped beside a rubbish bin.

At first, we thought it was dead, but on a closer look we realised it was alive and breathing but paralysed.

We were shocked at the heartlessness of the pet owner. What kind of person would do such a despicable thing?

We first took it to friend's place to feed it. The poor animal gobbled down whatever we gave it as if it had been starving for many days.

We took it to a vet, who gave it an injection and medication. The vet estimated the dog's age to be between seven and nine years. We were advised to massage its limbs. If there was no progress in its condition even after two weeks, it may remain paralysed for life.

We are praying the dog will recover soon. We have named it Lucky and hope it will be lucky after its ordeal.
