I met quite a few care-givers this week, and it was great to know that so many people care for the cats in so many different areas of Singapore. The fascinating thing is that we are from so many different places, fields of work, age but we have one common goal, which is to help the cats.
Was especially inspired by how care-givers do not give up despite the fact that there are so many cats to be sterilised and the difficulties that we all face. One commented that so long as there is a difference made to one cat, it is the difference made to one cat. At a time when we can somtimes be overwhelmed by the scale or magnitude of the problems, helping one cat at a time will work out to the difference made many cats in the long term. Here's one more cat trapped last Tuesday on 25 March, 2008:-
After that, we trapped another cat from my neighbourhood.
His brother was quite confused and surprised when he was trapped.
One by one, we sterilise the cats to control the population in the long term :)
