We need cats to go after rats
11 January 2009
WHY must cats be removed and put to sleep? In this urban lifestyle, we do still need nature to go on by itself.
I know that there are a few cats going around in Ang Mo Kio. But I have also seen rats running around the area.
By nature, cats can help us get rid of these pests. We humans wouldn't want to be chasing after the rats or even be near them.
So, why not have more cats around the area to keep the rat menace in check?
If the rats are allowed to be running around, they could multiply and cause diseases.
I hope the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority and the Town Council can consider this.
