Singapore has her name coined up after Sang Nila Utama first saw a feline

In response to Stray cats a pest at former Big Splash

First and foremost, i think you're quite a drama queen.

Making a mountain out of a molehill about a couple of kitty cats.
Fancy complaining about a handful of non-internet savvy cats but unfortunate for you, the cats have voices in a form of humans. Boohoo.
Anyway, i would like you to consider a couple of points to note and maybe teach it to your little kids. For their own general wholesomeness.

Lesson one: Singapore has her name coined up after Sang Nila Utama first saw a feline, who he thought to be a lion, hence picking the name SINGA for our pretty country.

Lion

We should tolerate the next best thing we can find shouldnt we? yes, the CATS.
They have become symbols of our urban country and that explains the numerous cat statues around Singapore River. Go have a family day there and you will see what i mean.

Lesson two: Cats do not carry malignant diseases.
The SARS hoohaa is over.
Hasnt there been enough stray cats punished during that period of time?
Okay, you wanted butterflies and birds.
The next thing you are going to post is about crows attacking your scrumptious children and pigeons poos on your shoes and bloodsucking butterflies.

Lesson three: Why are we blaming our famished feline friends about the toppled trashbins?
If we all take the tiny effort of sealing our food leftovers in plastics tightly, without exposing to WORST PEST such as roaches, would the cats smell it out?

What sickens me is the fact that authorities are going to react upon your whining and the cats executed.

NO THANKS to YOU.
