Ordinary Kindness Threatened
The lady who cares this cat and others in the vicinity of a fitness centre is a small built Chinese lady in her 40s or 50s.
She is aware of being responsible in feeding the cats by clearing up the leftover. Yet she was scolded by some people who walked by and saw her feeding the cats. One elderly man, not only scolded but wanted to beat the cat with a stick.
One of her colleagues wanted to "sabo" her by luring the cats into the fitness centre so that she could complain to the management. However this lady said she trained the cats not to be lured in by not allowing them to see that she entered the centre and by scolding them whenever she saw them about to enter any opened door.
Despite earning very little as a cleaner, she is big in generosity by providing food for the cats and bringing the cats to the vet for sterilisation and vet care when they were unwell. This tabby cat has been limping for a few days and since yesterday he has been showing signs of bladder inflammation by squatting frequenting to urinate. She said this cat didn't drink much water and she provided only dry food for the cats as it was less messy. However she would give wet food for just this cat to see if his bladder problem would go off on its own without the trauma and expenses of bringing him to a vet.
