Untipped cat with no tattoos in the either ear to indicate she is neutered.
She can still be a neutered cat who was abandoned by an irresponsible cat owner.
Her "untipped" status puts her at risk of being caught by a pest controller. Untipped cat at the AVA may not be kept in the holding area for long and may be euthanised quickly.
Caregivers will need to bring this cat to the vet to ascertain if she her neuter status ASAP (perhaps by ultrasound or more painfully, by opening her up to check if the reproductive organs are still in there).
This ginger cat who is nearby, is tipped.
A third cat at the same block has both ears tipped?!
Were both ears intentionally tipped?
Was the right ear tipped "wrongly" and the vet was asked to tip the left ear?
Was the right ear torn due to accident or deformed due to infection? However it looks very "straight" at the tip.

Subject: Re: Untipped female cat at Ubi
We just double-checked *** again - and this time we saw the cat you showed us and we brought the cat to Auntie Doreen (feeder of that zone, we missed seeing her last night) verify visually. This cat is actually already sterilised! By an owner living in that block who had adopted her, sterilised her and then dumped her...
Thankfully we double-checked again! But there is another cat that Doreen showed us, just behind *** in the car park, (you missed seeing her probably because she is newly dumped and still a bit timid). It is 5-6months old, female, a red mackerel tabby, definitely unsterilised, already starting to come on heat. We will probably be bringing that one instead from this zone in Ubi. This other cat has an injury on her paw which we will be tending to, possibly bringing to board at the shop if her wound cannot heal properly. If your offer still stands on sponsoring a cat, will you mind if we use your sponsorship to sterilise this other cat instead?
Attached are the pics of both *** cats - the one you spotted and this other red mackerel tabby.
Either way we are going to coordinate an Ubi-wide (all 50 blocks) sterilisation programme because this orange tabby in the pic is the only one from this zone that needs sterilisation, so to mitigate transport costs we will have to bring in more cats from all over Ubi - which we will coordinate, just to let you know about it. Worse comes to worst we will have to wait till the 2 uncles who sponsor the the neutering that includes block 341 to carry it out themselves when they are able. So far they have done a pretty good job already as there really aren't that any other unsterilised cats in their zone anymore.
If you are not keen on sponsoring this cat, it is also okay as you have done more than enough already as a volunteer!
Many thanks,
Elaine
